Please allow 1 hour for your initial appointment. While you are visiting us at Secret Women’s Business it is important we take the time to listen to your detailed history of symptoms and undertake a comprehensive examination to help determine a treatment plan most suitable to your needs.
We have HICAPS so please bring your private health fund card for on the spot claiming of your physiotherapy consultation. The remainder of the consultation fee is payable at the time of consultation. We have EFTPOS facilities, and take Visa and Mastercard, but do not accept AMEX.
Whilst all our physiotherapists love kids it can be easier for Mums if you are able to have children minded for at least the initial consultation. We often have newborns and young babies attending appointments but toddlers and preschoolers can find the longer initial consultation hard to manage. If possible, try to schedule your appointments at a time when childcare arrangements can be made. This also allows Mum the chance to focus on the appointment. If not, we understand and have a toy box waiting!
Cancellation Policy
As you can appreciate, our practitioners have allocated a specific time to see you. As a result, please be aware that there is a 50% cancellation fee with less than 24 hours notice. A full consultation fee will be charged if an appointment is not attended without notice.
We don’t want you to forget an appointment so we do send a reminder SMS before your physiotherapy appointments.
On the day of your appointment
Please bring:
- Your referral letter (if you have one) + Copies of any relevant medical reports or letters
- A list of any regular medications
