Darlene

As a new resident of Australia and the Sutherland Shire, Darlene brings with her decades of experience as a physio from Los Angeles, California.  Darlene is kind and tender-hearted believing strongly in the need to incorporate the whole person into her evaluations and treatments.  Darlene has been passionate about specialising in the area of women’s health physiotherapy since commencing her training in this specific field of physiotherapy in 2017.

Over the years, Darlene has gained invaluable experience in understanding the intricacies of the body’s neuromusculoskeletal system and the profound significance the pelvic floor has in every aspect of movement and life.  Darlene is deeply passionate about helping women regain, maintain, and then thrive in their pursuits of life-long wellness and pelvic health by providing treatment plans that are unique to their pain, injury, or illness.  Darlene treats all areas of women’s health including bladder and bowel urgency and incontinence, pelvic floor weakness and prolapse, pregnancy and post natal care, pelvic pain and pain with intercourse.

In Darlene’s free time, she enjoys staying as active as possible from walks on the beach or in the bush, to swimming, cycling, and paddle boarding.  She especially loves doing this when her partner and his daughters join in!
