Naomi Shafnoon - Physiotherapist

Naomi is a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist with a number of years of experience focused on pelvic health. Having been part of the Secret Women’s Business Team since 2023, she is committed to providing evidence-based, individualised care across all areas of women’s health physiotherapy including urinary urgency and incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pessary fitting and management, bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related care and postnatal recovery.

Naomi began her career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy where she developed strong clinical reasoning skills and a solid foundation in hands-on assessment and treatment. During this time, she recognised how frequently women’s pelvic health concerns were under-discussed which led her to undertake further training and transition into specialised women’s health practice.

Known for her thorough and thoughtful approach, Naomi places strong emphasis on education and collaborative care. She ensures her patients understand their condition and feel confident in managing their symptoms. Naomi creates a respectful and supportive environment where women feel comfortable discussing sensitive concerns and working towards meaningful, sustainable improvements in their quality of life. She remains committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her care reflects current best practice in women’s health physiotherapy.

Outside of the clinic, Naomi enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, painting and watching the latest films and shows (recommendations are always welcome!)
